Cookies and Storage

Last updated: August 2, 2026

This page explains how PokeRank uses cookies, local storage and similar technologies.

First-party cookies

PokeRank currently does not set its own profiling, marketing or analytics cookies. API requests use technical tokens in request headers when needed, such as the Twitch extension token.

Local storage

PokeRank may use browser localStorage for technical features or preferences, such as the trainer profile theme, the Admin Studio key stored locally by the administrator, and operational drafts in Admin Studio. This data remains in the browser used and can be deleted from browser settings.

Twitch and third parties

The Twitch extension, Twitch identity, subscriptions and Bits are handled by Twitch. Twitch may use cookies or similar technologies under its own policies and settings. PokeRank does not control cookies set directly by Twitch.

Consent

Because PokeRank only uses technical or preference storage and does not use its own non-essential cookies, no consent banner is shown. If analytics, marketing or non-essential cookies are added in the future, appropriate information and consent preferences will be introduced.

Browser controls

Users can delete cookies and local storage from their browser settings. Removing technical storage may reset local preferences or require some configuration to be entered again.
